strength training class
An unusual circuits class aimed at women, using barbells and other strength training equipment. No cardio, just heavy weights. A mix of traditional barbell lifts and some probably unfamiliar ones, all highly effective for building all-over strength.
Led by a female coach (Daphne) in a friendly, unintimidating environment, you’ll learn proper form and technique for all lifts to avoid injury and maximise benefit.
Suitable for novice and intermediate lifters, but please note that complete beginners will find this class easier if they have attended one of our Saturday classes first.
